Financial Institutions Group (FIG) forms the largest share in terms of projects/ engagements in the Firm globally. The FIG team is the largest in the practice research group. This team focuses on Research & knowledge development in domains like Corporate & Investment banking, Retail baking, Asset Management and Insurance.

Role Description:

The primary job responsibilities of FIG Research Analyst (RA) in Asset management would fall into three categories: (1) collect, summarize, analyze and synthesize facts that serve as critical inputs to client service teams, and interpret findings into implications for the teams; (2) develop significant source knowledge, understand quality, cost and potential suitability to address a variety of team needs and (3) demonstrate strong analytics, and start developing own perspectives in areas of expertise (private banking, brokerage, mutual funds etc).
As an RA you will be expected to possess and build a good understanding of industry trends/issues and have distinctive areas of expertise in the area of asset management. You will work with consultants and fellow researchers on analysis that requires in-depth research, data modeling and client-ready presentation material.

Qualifications:

  • MBAs from premier business schools having specialisation in Finance, with 1-2.5 years of work experience post MBA, preferably in the field of

Asset Management - either Product or Sales oriented profile.

OR

Wealth Management - either Product or Sales (Relationship Management) oriented profile.

  • Strong understanding of finance terms, concepts and in-depth knowledge of relevant financial products, operations and sound knowledge of industry issues and competitive trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English)
  • Professional attitude and service orientation
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
