Position: Shared Services Senior Manager
Job Description:
Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Finance & Performance Management professionals support clients in developing finance organization, treasury and risk management strategies and development of new business insight and performance management capabilities, allowing them to achieve long-term growth. Finance Operations professionals support the clients’ leadership and business teams in developing financial strategies and capabilities.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Engagement Management: Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
- Business Development: Develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizes and leads pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process.
- Domain Development: Development of assets and methodologies, development of point-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
- People Development: Performs role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.
- Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Finance, Shared Services and accounting back-office operations, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, asset management, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, etc.
- Minimum of 4 years experience around moving decentralized finance and accounting operations to shared services
- Minimum of 4 years experience in design, development and implementation of at least 2 complete life cycle finance and accounting shared services centers in the role of team lead over one or more of the work streams, or as a hands-on project manager
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with one or more of the following ERP financials applications from a functional design perspective is preferred: PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP
- Experience working with a Big 4 consulting firm
- MBA, CPA or CMA designation is preferred

- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
