Job Description:

Business Transformation Unit ( BTU) is part of Operations which has a charter across the Group to assist or lead in identifying and implementing business transformation opportunities.

Business Transformation is an internal consulting group and provides project management support to businesses irrespective of the geographical boundaries. In the consulting role the project managers (AVP/ Manager) may be supporting initiatives in or across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America or Middle East. These positions are based out of Hyderabad but may require travel, depending on the program/ project needs.

Roles and Resonsibility:

The position will be in frequent communication with business heads and key stakeholders from various business units around the world to accelerate the implementation of leading practices in order to improve cost, turnaround time, customer satisfaction and service level. The incumbent will:

  • Review, map and document ‘as is” process flow.
  • Analyze Gaps, Identify quality improvements, risk and cost reduction opportunities;
  • Design the future state of process flow, embedding best practices from similar processes/industry.
  • Select and use appropriate diagnostic tools, methods and techniques to identify improvement opportunities and process standardization.
  • Leverage other BTU streams (Metrics/Benefit Tracking, Best Practice, Six Sigma) to refine diagnostic and drive transformation.
  • Prepare business cases
  • Ongoing responsibility to identify, capture and disseminate best practices (whether internal or external);
  • Implement or contribute to the implementation of recommended improvements.
  • Deliver high-level cost/benefit analysis and recommend transformation projects
  • Organise Resources such that maximum benefit is derived from their deployment.

Knowledge, Experience And Skills

The AVP should be able to work on his/her own as well in a team environment along with other members of the BTU team to achieve the objectives of the unit. He/She should also possess the following academic and soft skills.

  • Bachelor /Master Degree
  • Minimum 8-12 years experience in reputed organizations - preferably from financial services / Banking / BPO sector.
  • Excellent written and Verbal Communication.
  • Good Analytical ability - Ability to interpret large quantity of Data and identify trends / discrepancies, Performs series of complex calculations generate meaningful MI.
  • Change Management Skills (as evidenced by previous experience)
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to take decisions quickly, keeping in view the Business objectives.
  • Good managerial and inter-personal skills.
  • Self driven and result oriented.
  • Computer proficiency - to be able to use MS Office, MS Projects
  • Flexible and adaptable to change (including changes in working hours/shifts) to suit the business needs
