Dimension & Scope:
The Consultant; Compensation and Benefits Regional Support is responsible for the oversight and support of The Company’ compensation and benefits programs for the assigned region. This position will manage the annual processes (enrollment and merit) and train/communicate local HR and employees on applicable policies and plans. The Consultant; Compensation and Benefits Regional Support will collaborate with the compensation and benefits design teams to ensure competive compensation and benefits programs are in place to aid in the attraction and retention of employees.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

Manage the annual benefits enrollment process and merit planning for assigned region.

Deliver training and communications to local HR, BU/RU managers, and employees.

Work with HRD to resolve issues and act as case manager for employees in their region.

Collaborate with compensation and benefit design groups in order to capture market information specific to local region and provide input on program development.

Work with local HR and employees to compose job descriptions for the job evaluation committee. Act as a liaison between the evaluation committee and the BU/RU.

Assist benefits design group to negotiate benefit contracts with local vendors.

Assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of The Company’ compensation and benefit plans to optimize plan design and recruitment and retention initiatives, including continuous market analysis and review of employee opinions through surveys and exit feedback.

Ensure plans and programs are in compliance with local regulations

Responsible for completing local market surveys and supplying information to Compensation and Benefits Design team for larger, global surveys

Keep abreast of external environment for emerging trends, regulatory changes, best practices and highlights to management as appropriate.
